Scene 1: Kuai Liang growing up in the Lin Kuei ranks with Bi Han, who is strict on him, but also loves his little brother Sektor, son of the Grandmaster, is jealous of them while training, wanting to prove he’s better. (insert whatever name you think of, I thought of Legacy, as in “brotherly, from Bi Han to Kuai Liang” but it’s not a must): Therefore, adapting both MK2 and MK3 at the same time would allow for a beautiful story. But I’d also say MK3, cause it would be redundant to make 2 movies ending with the defeat of Shao Kahn and MK3 really doesn’t leave much room outside from povs from Nightwolf, Kabal, Stryker and Cyber Sub-Zero, so characters who couldn’t hold a movie on their own. Normally it would be from Sub-Zero’s pov this time (not necessarily, but let’s keep things equal between the2 ninjas for the sake of the discussion).

Now for a sequel, it would be a little harder.

Scene with Scorpion and his son followed by massacre- 1 scene with each of Liu Kang, Johnny, Sonya, with their life before the Tournament- scene with Hanzo in Hell becoming Scorpion- the 3 heroes on the boat- Shang Tsung’s explanation in the Palace and introduction of Goro (with Jax)- Scorpion talk with Raiden which will be important later- 3 fights for the 3 heroes: Kitana, Baraka, Reptile- regroup with Scorpion in the forest and reduction of tempo- fight with Black Dragons and Scorpion vs Sub-Zero, finishing with the 3 heroes going separately- Sonya and Johnny in the dungeons vs Kano and Liu Kang in the Palace vs Goro- Scorpion saving the day and the fight against Quan Chi- ending on the boat. The scriptwriter just had to make 1 scene for Scorpion with his child in the beginning and go from there with the game’s story: Scorpion’s Revenge was really easy to make.
